Artist
statement: My
work is a fusion of henshin heroes, kaiju, super robots and mythology
plus a resolute belief that all things will be made new. The
theme that I am most drawn to in art is transformation. Being
continually made new is at the core of my faith.
Henshin
is a Japanese word for that means transform. Many of my favorite
superheroes transform themselves and battle evil. The idea behind
Everyday Henshin is that transformation is ongoing; it has become
common, an everyday event. Each day is a new day. Everyday Henshin
creates stories of transformation; of new creation. This is a gift,
lets cultivate wonder and imagination.
